Welcome to the E-scape and Scrap Gallery. We hope our gallery is a source of inspiration for you. We encourage you to share too as we would love to see your layouts, cards, and projects. We do ask that you follow a few basic guidelines in our gallery. Please feel free to give credit to all designer's products that are used for your projects but since this site is supported by E-scape and Scrap we only allow links back to our boutique. We also request that a maximum of 5 projects per day be uploaded to the gallery. This would allow time for everyone to have a spotlight on our gallery's home page. Thank you for your support, understanding, and respect for our gallery's guidelines.

I took these photos at a parade last year. I just love old cars, especially after they are fixed up and look new again.
I used Weathered Delights papers and elements for this page:

Photoshop LESSON!!! A great technique is to enlarge the photo, like I did here and then put it over one of your backgrounds. Play with the different layer modes found on the layers palette, at the top. When I get a look I like then I play with the opacity also found at the top of the layers palette. When I am satisfied with the look I'm ready to erase the hard edges around the photo so it blends better into the background. Click the "e" key to get the eraser. Choose a soft edged brush. I usually make my brush rather large around 100 pixels. If I want to make the edges softer hold down the shift key and click on the "LEFT BRACKET" key. Experiment! You do not want 100% strength on the eraser so lower the opacity of the brush to about 30%. This allows much more control so you can go over the areas again and again until you get the look you are after.

Try this technique and then post your layouts! We would love to see how you use this technique!
