Yesterday...The Day I Was Born

Cotton Candy Splash Paper by Ruth Davis/e-scapeandscrap

Worn Delights by Julie Mead/e-scapeandscrap

Yesterday by Paul McCartney was the number one song in
the US on October 12th 1965. It remained number one for
eleven weeks. Yesterday was the most-played song on
American radio for eight consecutive years. Yesterday has
the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song
remains popular today with more than 3,000 recorded cover
versions. Yesterday was voted the best song of the 20th
century in a BBC Radio poll.

No surprise that I always loved the Beatles and listen to them all the time,
and yes, Paul is my favorite Beatle!

What was your song?
